Mass rally against NATO is taking place in the Serbian capital on the anniversary of the NATO bombings of Yugoslavia in 1999. The protesters chant “Serbs and Russians are brothers forever.”
◼️ Some 2,000 civilians, including at least 89 children were killed during the 78-day NATO campaign, and many facilities in dozens of cities, including Belgrade, were destroyed or damaged.
◼️ The use of depleted-uranium munitions contaminated large territories and caused an unprecedented surge in cancer cases. People continue to suffer from malignant tumours to this day.
Those who point fingers at Russia now should point fingers at themselves. Let’s stop the hypocrisy shall we?
Two wrongs don’t make a right but claiming righteousness when you have been guilty of wrong doing for decades is despicable.
Thousands of Serbians Demonstrate in Favor of Russia in Belgrade
Many of them are still angry and old enough to remember when NATO bombed their capital city for three consecutive months.
