It was being reported that 13 heroic Ukrainian soldiers were confronted by a Russian warship on Snake Island. They told the Russians, “Go f*ck yourself!” and fought valiantly until they were all killed.

It turns out, there were 82 men, and there was no battle; they all survived.

A Ukrainian civilian car was crushed by an armored vehicle that lost control, but remarkably, they survived after being saved by onlookers.

The Snake Island soldiers who reportedly told a Russian warship to “go f— yourself” were captured alive by Russia after initial reports indicated the service members died in the attack, the Ukrainian Navy confirmed Monday.

Ukraine’s military lost contact with the 13 marines and border guards on Zmiinyi Island, or “Snake” Island, after a Russian attack, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said each of them would be posthumously awarded the title of “Hero of Ukraine.”

The Russian attack decimated the island’s infrastructure. The crew of a Ukrainian Sapphire civilian ship sent to the island to aid the victims were also captured by the Russians, Ukraine said. Source Ref 1, Ref 2

Russian Tank Crushes Ukrainian Car With Civilian Inside in Shocking Video

A horrific video from the Ukrainian capital has shown the moment when what appears to be a Russian tank crushes a car with a civilian still inside.

Videos of the incident and the aftermath were posted on social media.

One of the videos, posted by Ukrainian journalist Alexander Khrebet, was recorded from some distance away on a rooftop in the Obolon district of Kyiv and showed the moment the tank crushed the car. Ref 1, Ref 2

A Ukrainian fighter pilot has been credited with shooting down 10 Russian jets on Day 1 of the invasion :”Ghost of Kyiv”

A Ukrainian fighter pilot has been credited with shooting down 10 Russian jets on Day 1 of the invasion. Though this claim is unverified, some Ukrainian ministers and local media have said the pilot, whose identity is unknown and quickly got the name “Ghost of Kyiv”, flew a MiG-29 on his road to becoming an ace – a pilot who scores five or more kills.

The “Ghost of Kyiv” would likely turn out to be an urban legend, some military analysts have said, but is nonetheless serving as a massive morale booster for the Ukrainian forces in the face of overwhelming odds. Ref 1, Ref 2,
