Proof of a COVID-19 booster shot is now required for EU travel if more than nine months has passed since a second dose in the primary COVID-19 vaccine series.
EU Digital Covid Certs received after a primary COVID-19 vaccine series will not be accepted for EU travel if more than 270 days have passed since the second dose. The 270-day rule has been introduced across the EU as a result of changes to the EU Digital Covid Cert regulations.
Passengers without proof of vaccination or proof of recovery from COVID-19 in the previous six months, must show evidence of a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours.
