With the topic very much in the news, due to the Florida court decision rejecting the transportation mask mandate, Ian Miller speaks with Brownstone’s Jeffrey Tucker about the lack of evidence for the social benefit of universal masking, and the strange way in which public-health authorities continue to push them regardless.
The Florida court dealt strictly with the legal basis of the mandate, just as a court should, and did not address the science and experience of mask wearing. Writing often for Brownstone, Miller has delved deeply into the data to show the absence of evidence that mask mandates achieve anything at all in terms of public health.
