Austria’s parliament voted Thursday (Jan. 20) to introduce a national COVID-19 vaccine mandate for adults on February 1, the first of its kind in Europe.
Austria's parliament passed its universal vaccine mandate by vote of 137 to 33. History will look favorably upon the 33. As for the 137, they are despicable tyrants unfit for public office. https://t.co/TMTunk7nv3

Lawmakers voted 137 to 33 in favor of the mandate, which will apply to all residents of Austria aged 18 and over.
However, exemptions are made for pregnant women, people who for medical reasons can’t be vaccinated, or who have recovered from COVID-19 in the past six months.
