Indoor masking will be required in Philadelphia again, the city health department announced on Monday (April 11).
The mask mandate announced won’t go into effect until April 18, city health commissioner Cheryl Bettigole said, to give businesses time to adjust.

The move comes amid a slight rise in COVID-19 cases. The seven day daily average of cases is 142 as of April 8.
