Israel’s Ministry of Health has confirmed that two passengers who arrived at Ben Gurion Airport on Wednesday tested positive with a previously unseen mutation of Omicron strains.

It’s unconfirmed where the couple, who are in their 30s showing mild symptoms, caught the new mutation. BA.2 has also mutated with Delta in Israel this week.
