Alberta police officers shook hands and hugged protesters who were heading home from the Canada/US border, after paralyzing the crossing for more than two weeks.
According to a RCMP spokesperson, the Freedom Convoy left voluntarily, one day after local law enforcement arrested 13 people and seized firearms and ammunition. (Reuters)

Canadian protesters have been blockading the border crossing on Coutts since 29 January, opposing Covid vaccine mandates and general restrictions.
