America’s Labor Department reportedly won’t have enough OSHA inspectors to check up on the country’s 84 million workforce who fall under the new regulations to be vaccinated or tested. (CBS)

The rule which covers firms with 100+ employees may have to rely on ‘informers’, albeit at a potential risk to themselves. CBS cites expert opinion that without the so-called whistleblowers it’s doubtful that the Biden Admin will reach its goal of vaccinations before Jan 4th.

“There is no army of OSHA inspectors that is going to be knocking on employers’ doors or even calling them,” said Debbie Berkowitz, a former OSHA chief of staff who is a fellow at Georgetown University. “They’re going to rely on workers and their union representatives to file complaints where the company is totally flouting the law.”
