COVID-19 restrictions across Scotland will be greatly eased starting on Monday (Jan. 24) after a significant fall in case numbers.

Nightclubs will be able to reopen, whilst guidance urging Scots to only meet up in groups of three households will be scrapped. Restrictions on indoor and outdoor sports will also be removed, and social distancing rules for hospitality will be dropped.

However, people will still be asked to work from home if possible, and to take lateral flow tests before meeting up to socialize.
