Authorities in Australia’s Queensland are hunting down a reported $3.9MN in Covid compliance fines, and may target wages, bank accounts, homes and driver licenses if they are not paid. (Brisbane Times)

The State Penalties Enforcement Register (SPER) is already chasing over $750K in other fines according to the organization’s spox, and almost $4.3MN in unpaid quarantine hotel bills.

The civil citations ranged from exceeding your permitted radius or one hour from home or being caught without a mask – with cops using QR codes to track physical locations to catch people.
