All companies in South Africa which make COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory for their staff must compensate their workers should they suffer any adverse side-effects from the injection.
This is one of the new rules adopted for mandatory COVID-19 vaccination by the South African Department of Employment & Labour.
In an amendment on compensation for COVID-19 vaccination side-effects, which was recently published in terms of the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act, the Compensation Fund will now cover employees for injuries, illnesses or deaths which occurred as a result of the COVID-19 vaccine.
But this applies only where a worker was required by the employer to receive vaccination as an inherent requirement of employment, or where vaccination was required based on [occupational health and safety] risk assessment conducted by the employer.

Several big-name South African companies have announced that they will be implementing a mandatory vaccine policy.
Seeing that the Covid-19 vaccine is still on trail until 2023, can all the South African companies who are mandating vaccines please share their proof that the vaccine is 100% safe for human use.

That’s what major South African firms like MTN, Standard Bank and Old Mutual are telling staff.
Should more African companies make vaccination mandatory for their employees? https://t.co/ygTPhab3Bd
If you're working for MTN and know that you're not going to vaccinate, send all South African MTN users R1000 airtime by 'mistake'. There's no need to be loyal to these disloyal companies
