Thousands have taken to the streets in Munich to rally against increasing Covid restrictions being touted across Germany. Earlier, the country’s new chancellor suggested nationwide vaccine passports to be introduced in February.
Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel announced fresh restrictions on December 2 for those wh are unvaccinated against COVID-19. Chancellor Olaf Scholz and outgoing Angela Merkel will meet with leaders from all regions to agree on the measures. Scholz has refused to impose a new lockdown for everyone, but he is willing to impose stricter restrictions on those who refuse to show a passport. The restrictions have already been implemented in some regions.
Speaking at a press conference in Berlin, Merkel said that there would be significant contact restrictions for those who had not been vaccinated.
People who did not have proof of vaccination would not be able to visit non-essential shops or cultural and leisure facilities. Private gatherings among people who did not have proof of vaccination would be limited to two households.

The police found five bodies on Saturday in a single-family house in Senzig, Brandenburg, south of Berlin: father, mother, and three daughters.
The father of the family, Devid R. (40), is said to have killed his wife, and his three children aged four, eight, and ten. All of them were found with gunshot wounds.
According to a suicide letter left behind, the 40-year-old forged a vaccination certificate for his wife. After the employer found out, the couple was afraid of imprisonment and that the children would be taken away from them, the Chief Public Prosecutor Gernot Bantleon told the German Press Agency on Tuesday. Chemnitz mourns the loss of Dr. Thomas Jendges (55). The head of the Chemnitz hospital who “fell” from the hospital building on Flemmingstrasse Tuesday morning. He died from his injuries.
Dr. Jendges was appointed managing director of East Germany’s largest municipal hospital in April and has been the sole managing director since October 1st. He leaves behind a wife and a son. ref
New Study: ZERO Deaths From COVID Among Healthy Children — Why Are They Forced To Take Dangerous Vaccine?
Not a single healthy child from ages 5 to 18 died of COVID-19 throughout the first 15 months of the pandemic in Germany– the largest country in Europe, according to a newly published major study.
A German registry established in March 2020, shows 1.5 million German children or adolescents were infected with Sars-Cov-2 between March 2020 and May 2021.
Not a single healthy child died from the virus.
The probability of a healthy child requiring intensive care for COVID were about 1 in 50,000, researchers at Cold Sring Harbor Laboratory concluded in a study published to the medRxiv prepping server on Monday.
The odds of children 12 and older requiring intensive care for Covid were 1 in 8,o00.

Sweden and Germany: No Deaths In Children Due to Covid
The decision by parents to vaccinate their child against Covid is really a question of risk management. Parents must seriously consider that Covid-19 is a less dangerous illness for children than influenza. It has shown to be so and quite stably near 20 months now.
Children do not readily acquire this pathogen, spread to other children, spread to adults, take it home, get severely ill, or die from it. It is that simple. We know children tend not to transmit Covid-19 virus and that the concept of asymptomatic spread has been questioned severely, particularly for children.
Children, if infected, just do not spread Covid-19 to others readily, either to other children, other adults in their families or otherwise, nor to their teachers. This was demonstrated elegantly in a study performed in the French Alps. The pediatric literature is clear science on this. Overwhelming data shows that the SARS-CoV-2-associated burden of severe disease or death in children and adolescents is very low (statistically zero).
Swedish data by Ludvigsson reported on the 1,951,905 children in Sweden (as of December 31, 2019) who were 1 to 16 years of age who attended school with largely no lockdowns or masks. They found zero (0) deaths. “Despite Sweden’s having kept schools and preschools open, we found a low incidence of severe Covid-19 among schoolchildren and children of preschool age during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.”
Germany vaccine panel OKs shots for children aged 5-11

BERLIN — Germany’s independent vaccination advisory panel on Thursday said it was recommending COVID-19 shots for children aged 5 to 11 with pre-existing conditions or who are in close contact to vulnerable people.
The expert panel also said that young kids without pre-existing conditions can be vaccinated if there is an “individual desire” to do so — a step short of advising that all children in that age group get the shots.
The panel, known by its German acronym STIKO, said in a statement that children aged 5-11 should receive two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, three to six weeks apart.
The recommendation, which isn’t binding and may still be amended after consultation with health officials, means doctors in Germany will likely begin offering vaccinations to younger children next week, when the appropriate shots become available.
