Tens of Thousands Across Italy Rally Against “Super Green Pass” and COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Over-50s
Massive protests against Italy’s COVID-19 Green Pass returned to the streets of Rome, Milan, Genoa and other cities on Saturday (Jan. 15) without any major incident.
The events were organized after the government tightened the “Super Green Pass” rules and announced a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for people over age 50. Protesters held placards that read “Vaccine-nazis off their thrones” and “Hands off the Constitution.”
French virologist and Nobel Prize winner Luc Montagnier received a heroes welcome upon arrival to Milan, claiming “the non-vaccinated will save humanity.”
He added: “This vaccine does not protect at all, it is recognized by everyone, in fact, it favors infections. The protein used is toxic. There are many deaths and many young sportsmen who have heart problems because of of this vaccine!”
