Florida lawmakers meet in a special legislative session Monday (Nov 15), called by Governor Ron DeSantis with the goal of thwarting COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
In a week-long session, the lawmakers are slated to consider four Bills that would impose new penalties on businesses and local governments that require workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
“No cop, no firefighter, no nurse, nobody should be losing their job because of these jabs,” DeSantis said in a media release.
