After more and more athletes collapse in front of the camera, both the CDC and Pfizer have recently issued a public warning about “blood clots.”

Last February 10, the CDC issued a warning normalizing the notion that young adults and healthy athletes develop blood clots.

Of course, before the Covid vaccines, no one had ever heard of this common phenomenon.

“#DYK [do you know] that anyone can develop a blood clot? (Did you know that anyone can develop a blood clot?) Whether you’re an athlete or a fan, don’t let a blood clot spoil the big game this weekend. Learn how to protect your health: tweeted the CDC.

The CDC failed to mention Covid 19 vaccines on its website as one of the factors that can increase this risk.

Last year, a new study conducted by researchers at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) concluded that Johnson & Johnson’s Covid vaccine increases the risk of developing a rare and fatal blood clotting disorder in the brain.

An Oxford University study early last year also found that the number of people who developed blood clots after vaccination was about the same for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines as for AstraZeneca’s, Market Watch reported.

Following the CDC warning, Pfizer issued a public warning on Feb. 14 about “deep vein thrombosis,” or blood clots in the veins.

“Deep vein thrombosis (#DVT), a blood clot in a deep vein, can travel to the lungs and lead to pulmonary embolism (#PE). Symptoms of PE include difficulty breathing and chest pain. Contact your doctor if you notice symptoms – there is no time to wait,” Pfizer tweeted.
