Tens of thousands of protesters once again took to the streets of several cities across Australia on Saturday (Jan. 22), causing significant traffic and public transport delays in Melbourne to march against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and children’s vaccinations.
Similar demonstrations were held in Sydney—where supporters of United Australia Party MP Craig Kelly marched from Strathfield Station to Burwood Park carrying signs calling for COVID-19 mandates to end—and Brisbane, where protesters rallied at Musgrave Park to stand against mask-wearing and COVID-19 restrictions.
