American Airlines was forced to cancel over 1,500 flights across the country over the weekend, and while the airline is trying to blame the weather, a whistleblower is saying that the cancelations had nothing to do with that.
“With additional weather throughout the system, our staffing begins to run tight as crew members end up out of their regular flight sequences,” American Airlines officials told CNN.

Though officials blamed “high winds” for the cancellations, a whistleblower told The Gateway Pundit, “High winds My a**. High winds of freedom!”

American Airlines canceled 104 flights in and out of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on Sunday, which made up 34% of their Phoenix services for the day. This number of cancellations there is continuing to grow today.
Lines of people could be seen waiting for their accommodations after their flights were canceled.
