The red Voice Media – Marking what might be his first major accomplishment, President Joe Biden, who pushed the massive infrastructure legislation hard, recently signed the supposed $1 trillion bill. But while the Democrats and Biden are praising their efforts, there is a great deal about the bill that is still unknown. One of those little measures that were packed into the bill will supposedly help prevent drunk driving. The safety measure will take effect in five years and will mandate automakers to install a “vehicle kill switch” in every car. As mentioned above, there is a great deal about the legislation that is still being discovered even after it was signed. While Democrats are staying silent on the matter, what is known is that the device will be put in every new vehicle will “passively monitor the performance of a driver of a motor vehicle to accurately identify whether that driver may be impaired.”
There is not enough money allocated in the Infrastructure Bill to replace every lead water pipe. The entire bill should have been FOR actual infrastructure and NOT electric cars/electric charging stations and social programs. You fix the ongoing problem before making new issues…

Buried deep within the massive infrastructure legislation recently signed by Biden is a little known measure that will take effect in five years. It will mandate that car manufacturers build into every car what amounts to a “vehicle kill switch” that will monitor (SPY) on you.

Although there is most definitely a reason as to why the new “safety” device wasn’t discussed more, former Representative Bob Barr, who held office from 1995 to 2003, recently wrote an article about the dangers that could come from the new mandatory measure.
Barr noted, “First, use of the word “passively” suggests the system will always be on and constantly monitoring the vehicle. Secondly, the system must connect to the vehicle’s operational controls, so as to disable the vehicle either before driving or during, when impairment is detected. Thirdly, it will be an “open” system, or at least one with a backdoor, meaning authorized (or unauthorized) third-parties can remotely access the system’s data at any time.”
Given the lack of control and privacy implications that could happen, Barr also pointed out that the decision to pass the legislation shows how little Democrats and Congress “care about the privacy of their constituents.” He added, “The lack of ultimate control over one’s vehicle presents numerous and extremely serious safety issues; issues that should have been obvious to Members of Congress before they voted on the measure.”
My conclusion is that the PEOPLE of America are not STUPID, CONGRESS IS STUPID.

You mean the infrastructure bill doesn’t provide for free electric cars for all Americans to save the planet’s climate crisis?
